Our Story
About OLÁN
Where tradition becomes timeless.
OLÁN was born from a deep love for heritage, craftsmanship, and the women who carry culture with strength and grace. Inspired by the textures, spirit, and colors of Colombia, our bags are more than accessories — they’re expressions of identity.
Founded by two sister-in-laws — one Colombian, one Salvadoran — OLÁN is our way of giving back to the cultures that shaped us. After years of thriving in our own professional paths, we felt called to create something meaningful — something rooted in tradition, led by women, and crafted with purpose.
Each OLÁN piece is handcrafted by Indigenous women artisans in Colombia using ancestral weaving techniques passed down through generations. No factories. No mass production. Just artistry, intention, and meaning in every stitch.
We believe in slow fashion — not just as a trend, but as a movement rooted in respect.
Respect for the makers. Respect for the materials.
And respect for the people who wear what we create.
Ethically made. One-of-a-kind. Woven with purpose.
Thank you for being part of our story.
With love,
Rossmery & Melissa
